If it's to become a free-for-all 'hottest woman' discussion then the #1 spot has to go to Natalie Portman for me - stunningly beautiful, amazing actress and refreshingly private about her, well, private life!

Not exactly qualified to have an opinion on this one. Keira Knightly is beautiful but a little too thin imho. Out of the choices I've gone for Denise Van Outen as she is attractive with a personality! I'll have to ask DH his opinion on these ladies!

Im a stright girl but Im going to give my opinion anyway. Although the things I will mention are maybe not what men look for in women lol.

1. Her drive- if she wants something she will get it
2. Her fantastic mothering skills- no-one can deny that

Odd isn't it - how people's opinions differ...

Sometimes I think she looks ok, but other times I think she looks too masculine: not her chest, obviously, but her facial features and hands are rather big and not at all refined or delicate. I don't know if her make-up makes her look better or worse, but I sometimes think "drag queen" (or "inflatable doll").

Admitedly I haven't really seen her TV programme - so haven't really seen the real her...

I've never liked her - she's a glamour model who got famous by having ridiclous breast implants and entering into a mutually exploititive relationship with the gutter press. I don't find her in the slightest bit atractive and she's never done anything of interest, to me anyway.

As for being a good Mum - I'm sure she is, but there are many many Mum's who do just a good job without the financial security and help on hand she has.

Just to open up your can of worms , if I may?

Speaking from the male perspective, there are two types of women who men find attractive. There is the woman you'd like to settle down with. She'd be attractive, intelligent, funny and easy to get along with. Now, I would put Kate Beckinsale in that catagory. The other type is, well, a tart. Purely this is all fantasy, a "what wouldn't you like to do with her" type of thing. Jordan falls into this catagory with the beasts, foul mouth and the way she dresses. To put it clearly, a night of rampantness with her, oh yes. Marry her, you've got to be kidding. She is a train wreck of a woman.

If anyone has seen pictures of "Pre-op" Jordan, she wouldn't have stood out for any other topless model. It's this and this only that has made her famous. Take away those and you would probably take away the second type of woman I was describing.

I'd disagree with that Steve, there are definately 2 types of men too, the ones who are good for settling down with and raising children with, and the ones with whom you just want to, erm, play.

What I meant was that the 'men like two types of women' doesn't apply to all of us men - I personally have no interest in tarty women, not even in a 'one night fantasy' scenario. Then again, one stands, even in a fantasy scenario, have never appealed to me - I must be quite boring in that way!
