And your own batteries, because there are NO AA batteries to be purchased. We felt the heat was much worse than in June. It's just exhausting. I saw soooo many people with that red rash on their lower legs in Epcot today.

With the temps and humidity feeling over 100.... if you are planning on your little girls to be neck to ground decked out in a polyester princess gown, maybe check she isn't over heating. Saw lots of tiny girls looking flushed faced in their long dresses.

Come on fall! Bring those cool breezes!

:flower:

Yea, temps look like they are staying up for next week too. But I am prepared! I have a fan with two rechargeable 2200mAh batteries and a Chilly Pad towel!

I have a mister fan, handheld fan and a chiller towel....still boiling hot! Been slathering on suncream and drinking tons of water.

The heat was unbelievable this week and last. If you are planning on riding Slinky Dog without a Fastpass, consider bringing and Umbrella for your own personal shade. We waited 1 hr for the ride and 30 min of it was in the full sun. We saw more than 1 child under 3 that looked so hot, it worried me.

10,000 angry suns, how many degrees is that?
It's been two to three degrees hotter than usual for this time of year. I'm local and am outdoors at WDW several days a week so it doesn't bother me though.

It did seem really hot today. Even hotter than when I was here 3 weeks ago. And I’m a Florida native and Georgia resident so used to heat and humidity. Making things even worse, the bus we took today from MK to HS was jam packed and the AC was NOT working. At all. Hot bus ride and long hot walk to the park entrance...not a ton of fun. The rest of the day was fun though once we took 15 minutes in Backlot Express to get a drink and cool off.

Flying down tomorrow and staying Saturday through Thursday... Looks to cool off a bit and low (for rainy season) rain chances... Sure with the humidity it feels awful...

Prepared for a sauna!

I have a UV umbrella that does double duty; shade for the sun and rain protection. I used it A LOT in WDW last week!

Wow, the temps were actually pleasant when we were there over Labor Day. We are heading there next year at this time. Hopefully, we'll survive, probably with a lot of pool breaks.

Slightly worried as we’re Scottish so our “natural” colour is pale blue for most of the year. I’ve done Bangkok and Hong Kong so I know how hot it’ll be but my DD has never experienced hot AND humid. Have a feeling I’ll be spending a lot of snack credits on slushies lol!

I got back Monday, and it was miserable hot this trip. I also got sick after Star Tours (the ride had NO A/C!). I literally threw up in the bathroom at 50's Prime Time (sorry if TMI). Had to go to first aid and lie down, get dramamine and water, and rest.

Man oh man oh man. I actually had to leave Epcot early today. I was covered in a layer of water from all the sweat. It was like a sauna with the furnace on. If I had had a fan, it would have helped! Not worth getting a heat stroke! Wear cool colors, sunglasses, bring a small fan with extra batteries, and drink water constantly! And I live in the Deep South! We're used to heatl

I was at MK yesterday and it got so hot that they cut Mickey’s Friendship Faire short during the finale. It looked like the performer playing Olaf was having trouble with the heat, so Elsa and Anna escorted him off, and the show ended about 30 seconds later.

Today wasn’t much better, heat-wise, though it did seem slightly cloudier, which provided some much-needed shade.

No relief in sight for at least the next week. :( We're officially setting heat records for September. Be careful out there!

We're back home. Looking back, I think I should have driven to a store and bought fan batteries. In June, I was able to handle that heat but yesterday, without a fan, it made all the difference. By noon, I was done for. I sure hope all of yall stay safe. It's easy to get really over-heated. And watch those kids.

Just got home today. We spent a lot of time in the AC and my fan was my best friend. As was water! It was hot.

I think they are setting records with the heat down there this year. I've been in Sept 3 times and I don't think I'll do it again

The heat of this past trip is making me reconsider this time of year for my next one. Thinking between Thanksgiving and Christmas instead. I will miss Food and Wine, but it is so hard to enjoy it when you're so hot anyway.

We have been the last weekend of September in the past. This year was worse than we've ever experienced. We're from coastal SC, so used to heat and humidity. But it seemed extra hot there during our Sept 27- Oct 1 trip. We are usually open-to-close people, but we had to take breaks.
