What kind of hotel are you looking for? Alot of people like Howard Johnson's. We have stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites and it is a pretty decent place. Both of these are within walking distance of the park.

Walking distance- most recommended y posters here and other boards:
Howard Johnson's (use their web site for best rates or call directly to see if Entertainment card rate is available)
Candy Cane (good breakfast, pretty grounds, very nice)
Desert Inn (close to walkway, decent and clean)
Carrousel Inn (mixed reviews but many DO like it, continental breakfast, very close to walkway)

Other-- my last places :
I like the Marriot by the convention Center (super comfy beds, quiet, convenient but longish walk, Pizza Hut in lobby)

Hilton by convention center.. eh.. it was OK but not as good as the Marriot. (Lumpier beds, clean, longish walk, loved the FOUR outdoor hot tubs!)

We are going in April, so I can't recommend anything yet. We decided on the Candy Cane based on all the reviews on this board.

Here is a nice map with links to the hotel websites that will show you where they are located:

I used this to check out prices and distances. You can see the Candy Cane looks very close and on the same side of the street.

Funnygarcia:

We're staying at the Anaheim Hilton in 2 weeks. I've read only negative posts on tripadvisor.com lately about this hotel. When did you last stay there and is there anything positive you can say about it??? I'm getting nervous!

thanks in advance!

I am most Definately Looking Favorably towards staying at the Candy Cane Inn...I hope im Not Disappointed...
