Hotels within walking distance of Convention Ctr.

Hi,
I asked about this on the Orlando hotels board, but this board gets alot more action.
We have a friend who is going to a meeting at the Orange Cty. Conv. Center. The Peabody Orlando is the headquarter hotel. Are there any hotels within walking distance of the center?
What hotels would you suggest in the area?

The Rosen Plaza and the Rosen Centre Hotel are right there. I always book the Rosen Plaza for the guys who go to conferences at the OCCC. My Boss likes it there, he says it is closer the the convention ctr. I guess there is also a new section of the conference center. I haven't been there, so don't know what else is within walking distance. I would google the OCCC and if they have a website it should tell you.

Rosen Centre and Rosen Plaza are right next door. Stayed at the Rosen Centre 3 years ago and it was very nice. Elevators got a bit clogged when meetings let out at the same time but other than that it was great.
