just got back and i am already looking into my next trip. i loved the anaheim plaza but each night we were to pooped to stay for the fireworks. i could hear them and see the tops of them, but i was wondering if there are any offsite hotels with a really good view?

I think I saw someone on here mention the Sheraton having a great view from their private balconey. I just read that somewhere this evening, but I have no personal experience.

The Howard Johnson has an awesome view from their hot tub, or if you want to me in your balcony, most of the Bldg. 1 rooms have awesome fireworks views.

We stayed at the Parkvue Inn and had really good views from our room. The rooms that didn't have the best view of them could go to the breakfast area to watch them, and they had a really good view from their too.

i haven't stayed there, but i've read that the camelot has some rooms on the 4th floor that have a great view of the fireworks.

I too, have read many a post regarding good views from Howard Johnsons.
A real cool location would be from the air, in a nice plane.
And.........Welcome back, I hope that you and your family had an awesome time. And enjoy planning your next trip too, that should be a fun thing to do, and to look forward to. :) :flower3:

The Sheraton at Ball Road & Disneyland Drive in Anaheim would have a great view of the "backside of fireworks". ;) The Sheraton in Garden Grove would be too far away.

Hi, if you have never seen the current fireworks show while at the Disneyland park, and in front of the castle - it's an absolute must see and do! I do not feel this can be appreciated from just anywhere in the park, and especially not from a hotel room. The castle is the main character and is literally like the stage where the performance takes place, and the show is nothing without the audio that goes along with it. It's not your average fireworks show, I can guarantee it's unlike anything you have ever seen. Best view is in front of the castle, in the main square area. It's about as popular as Fantasmic, with people showing up very early to get a good spot. I would suggest picking a night to watch the show, and just take things easy that day so you're not as tired. Plus you have to check out Tinkerbell, her flight has evolved into a super flight, no longer from point A to point B.

The Sheraton Park. I have commented several times about how wonderful it is to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine (and a DCA view, of course;) ) and enjoy the fireworks. Others have agreed. It's a nice hotel. Has anyone here stayed at the new Sheraton GG? It's right down the road from the Sheraton Park.
