Hi Ya,
I need some help for a hotel very close to the o2 Arena.TBH the cheaper the better as long as it's clean+has a breakfast served the next morning. It needs to be within walking distance to the o2,and not too far too walk.I have tried looking on the net but i don't know the area and what's classed as 'close by'.
Thanks for your help.x.

Hi, I was out that way in April for two nights (I was working on a show there). There is only one hotel within walking distance of the O2, and that is the Holiday Inn Express. It is on the same side of river as the O2 and is about a 20 minute walk south of the 'Dome'

It's a nice hotel with a good breakfast, highly recommended.

Thank you very much :thumbsup2.I looked at this hotel last night and for the date i need it is completley booked :sad2:.
I did try on other cheap sites for the same hotel but the cheapest wanted £220 for the night-no breakfast :scared1:.(i also don't understand that if the hotel is fully booked-how do other sites have rooms available for you to buy??).x.

Does anyone know the next best/cheapest/closest hotel for the o2 arena at London. If there are no more within walking distance, then how would i get to the venue-we don't drive?.
Thanks again for any help.x.

The cheapie web-sites will either have an allocation of rooms from the hotel or they will have 'block booked' the rooms to sell on.

You could try the Holiday Inn Express Royal Docks. It's apparently 5 mins walk from Canning Town tube station and you could get a tube from there to North Greenwich for the O2.

There's a few more you could look at here.

Hope you can find something soon. :goodvibes Worst comes to the worst you can crash at ours for £100 ;)

I also need a hotel for when i go and see Green Day :) Subbing!

I was going to suggest the HI express Greenwich but it seems to get booked pretty quickly, theres also an Ibis & Novotel in Greenwich probably a bit of a long walk (maybe 30 mins) but its a simple 10minute or so bus ride to the o2. Though I noticed you live in London, why don't you get get the tube there and home, its jubilee line to North greenwich station.

I stayed in the Radisson Edwardian New Providence a couple of weeks ago to see Britney it was a really nice hotel. There is an Ibis across the road. You can walk to Canary Wharf and get the tube (one stop) or they have started a boat service from the hotel to the O2 on concert nights (the hotel is directly cross the otherside of the river to the hotel). I would check with the hotel though! It got it on a deal on Expedia it was £80 a night :thumbsup2

To be honest with you that link was just the first one that came up on a Google search for hotels near The O2. It looks OK to me but it's up to you. :goodvibes
