Hotels near Port Canaveral

Based on flight times, it looks like we will need to fly in the Friday before our cruise. Are there inexpensive hotels near Port Canaveral that anyone can recommend? Do they shuttle to Port Canaveral as well?

Any other recommendations on cheap places to stay the night before?
