Are there hotels within walking distance to the Disney springs transportation?

I want to stay off property for $100/night or less... (Not sure if that exists but worth asking) But still be able to take advantage of Disney transportation to the parks if I want it.

I'm driving in. Thanks!

There is NO Disney transportation to parks from Disney Springs.
You would have to wait for DS to open, then get a bus to a resort, then transfer to a park bus.
You would lose a couple hours of critical park time.

These are the actual DS hotels that are non-Disney but right there.
They have their own shuttle system to the parks.
I just got back from a stay at Buena Vista Palace and paid $91 per night. Hotel in full renovation but the room was done/nice.
Some specials on here, go direct to their websites and check Mousesavers for specials. I have stayed a few times under $100.
Note some have parking and or resort fees, but sometimes you will see them waived at B Resort.

There are some out on 535/Palm Parkway that would be a minimum 1.5 mile walk if you are interested.

As others have said buses to the resorts are available at Disney Springs. You would have to take the bus to a resort and switch transportation. The hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd have their own transportation. You might consider one of those hotels.

@HopperFan, the Buena Vista Palace is $78 for our dates later this month though Hilton with their HHonors special. My DH is Diamond so we would get free breakfast. Is there a resort fee or charge for parking? I'm currently at the Red Lion (IIRC you stayed there) for $58 with tax plus the $9 resort fee ... $336 all in. The BVP is $438 but it includes breakfast for 2 people for 5 days. I'm also thinking about booking a 1BR at Silver Lake for $350. It's just my DH and I and we have APs so the shuttle isn't a plus.

What do you think? Is the BVP worth an extra $100?

Glad you were able to book that rate, I tried for days and it kept kicking me over to a smoking room. I know the hotel is non-smoking now, but I didn't want to chance if it mean the room hadn't been rehabbed so I took next best rate. We too are Diamond and we were not given free breakfast :sad2: like we usually are but our schedule was so crazy (out to wee hours for after hours events) that we wouldn't have used anyway.

If you had any intention of using the pool, it does not exist yet. Major construction. For a room only, it's nice because they are well done. The rest of the hotel is a construction zone or very outdated. We saw a corner of what looked like a quick mart by elevators but never saw any restaurants or anything else, guess they were on another wing. No resort fee and no parking fee so that was great. I fully expect that to change once the hotel is done, already built for gates and the new pool area will probably dictate fees sadly.

Location is good, we drove everywhere, did not use buses. AND I love walking to DS so we can have drinks and just walk back. If you are planning anytime down there that is a plus. They have done a great job, I see more meals there now than in the parks/hotels.

Room was very big (plus of old hotels) and a balcony.

For the location and the big well done room, I was happy with the rate, would have been happier with yours but it was still one of the best rates I found for our weekend.

Those photos are really nice! It looks like you got a renovated room. We don't need the pool, our fish of a daughter will be on a training trip with her swim team to see the Olympic Trials in Omaha and our APs are burning a hole in our pockets. I called the hotel and the free breakfast for Diamonds is ONLY the "continental" part of the buffet which opens at 7:00 am. That will (1) annoy me that they are being so cheap and (2) it may be too late for us to eat and get to the parks, especially if they open the parks at 8:00. Hmmm ...

You liked the Red Lion, right?

The b resort and spa is a short walk away from Disney Springs and has shuttles to the parks!! Haven't stayed there since it was the Royal plaza but it looks nice. xx

I found the transportation from the B to the parks be really good. Every 30 minutes, stopped at three hotels I believe. Not as good as Disney of course, but when we left the parks, there wasn't a million hour wait like I had when I stayed at POP.
