Hotels near Blizzard Beach

We're flying in late on a Thurs. night. Want to stay somewhere clean but reasonably priced that night so we can hit Blizzard Beach early, then check into WL early evening on Fri. What is in the area of Blizzard Beach?

I was hoping for something under $100, since we're going to check in late and leave early just for one night. That probably would exclude any Disney property. Any recommendations for non-Disney hotels in that price range?

If I search Travelocity, for instance, would I look for Lake Buena Vista area or some other area? I see some hotels with a Palm Parkway address. Is that close?

Leslie, Palm Parkway is a couple blocks north of the doowntown disney/Crossroads center intersection.

I'm sorry I don't know the area very well. Where would Palm Parkway be in relation to Blizzard Beach? Pretty close? Easy to get to from MCO?

Actually, I think the west 192 area would be closest to BB of the offsite areas. Unfortunately, in checking my Streets & Trips program, it doesn't look like the hotels/motels in that immediate area (around the entrance road) are all that great...though you might try the Hampton Inn (west) or maybe the Rennaisance World Gate (if that's still it's name...can't keep up with the hotel management changes! ) Good luck!

"Close to Blizzard each" implies on the Disney property. The only rooms under $100 are at the value resorts (All Stars and Pop Century).

What's your definition of close? 15 minute drive? 2 minute walk?
