Hotels in Miami area

We are in search of a three/four night stay in Miami area with our older teens.Looking for beach/pool.Would anyone be able to recommend a reasonably priced hotel or area that you have stayed in.We are looking to stay at one of the all Stars in Orlando.
Is it possible to hire a car in miami and return it to MCO in orlando at the end of the trip?

Sunny Isles at the north end of Miami was a nice area and I believe still is. With most hire companied one way drop offs in Florida are ok and often free of charge.
