Hotels in Downtown Toronto

I am planning on spending a weekend in Downtown Toronto in June. I want something close to the Eaton Centre - can anyone recommend a nice (but affordable hotel)? I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

The Delta Chelsea Inn is very close to the Eaton Centre (a pleasant few blocks walk). We've stayed there a number of times and have enjoyed it. The hotel often has good specials and has great facilities - indoor pool, waterslide for kids, childrens' play area. Another option is the Marriott Hotel, which is right beside the Eaton Centre. We haven't stayed there yet, but I hear it's very nice.

I've had friends stay at the Marriott and the Sheraton Center which are both attached to the Eaton Center. Recently, one of my friends Pricelined the Sheraton for something like $69. Thos are the two closest that I can think of. Most of the other hotels in the downtown area would be a 5 min walk or subway/streetcar ride to the Eaton Center.

Make sure you book early cause there are lots of basketball tournies in june and the rooms book up fast!
