Okay, I am trying to plan a vacation for the summer and have determined that we want to do Disneyland, Knott's, SF Magic Mountain, and Universal Studios. I think it may be easiest to get 2 hotels. I have the Disney/Knotts hotel almost picked out - debating between 2 right now, but I have no clue what to do about the other hotel. Is there a better selection to go closer to Universal and drive the 30 miles to Magic Mountain? Get something in between? I think we will do a day in Hollywood with the sites so I am thinking of going closer there. Anyone have any suggestions or anything to avoid at all costs? I would prefer someplace cheaper so that we could get 2 rooms for about $200 a night to sleep 5.
