Anyone here use Hotels.Com for booking?
I always believe that booking something through the actual website is the way to go, but they are coming up (Hotels.com) much less.
How reliable are they?

My mum and I have used hotels.ca (I would assume it's the canadian version of hotels.com, ETA: I just tried to get to hotels.com and it redirected me to hotels.ca so it looks like since I'm currently in Canada it sends me to the canadian website...) a couple times. Both times everything went incredibly smoothly, no problems whatsoever. HTH :

I used hotels.com on our last trip. I was a little wary just because I'd never heard of it before and the prices were so low. But it worked out great...got a very nice room at the Wyndham Resort for under $80 a night during Christmas. I would definately use them again.

Which hotel is your booking for? If the hotel chain has a best price guarantee they may be able to beat the rate you're seeing at hotels.com.

We used them to get one night in the SeaWorld area. I was also a little leery because I'm so used to just booking through the hotel directly. But, we ended up with a really nice, 2 room suite for much less than I could get directly. Would have no problem using them again.
