Hotels by Port Canaveral

Okay, I have the Dream Maker package and I have a suspicion we are paying for tickets at WDW on the day we leave for the cruise. I will call tomorrow to see, but if this is the case, we will do the parks all day the day before, then go to a hotel by Port Canaveral that evening before the cruise. I'm sure this has been asked before, but what hotels are best? Is there something on the water that looks at the ships? Thanks!
