Hotels booked solid......what gives

Hi , I was trying to surprise my kids with a short holiday to DL, we are planning to go Feb 19-23. Just tried 4 different hotels and they are booked solid. Does anyone know why.... is there something going on; and if so how packed is DL going to be? Thanks for any input.

President's Day Holidays!!! Different school districts take different sets of days for this holiday. My school district (in Northern California) takes the entire last week of February off for mid-winter break and doesn't have an official "President's Day". Others, like where my daughter lives, take two Mondays off in February. Sounds like you are hitting this holiday.
