Hotels between Lumberton NC and Florence SC??

My drive south to WDW kicks off next week, and I'm thinking that my layover will be around the NC/SC line. Anybody got any tips on hotels they've stayed at in the past between Lumberton NC and Florence SC? I will be by myself so I'm not looking for much more than a clean room to crash in for 6-8 hours.

Best Western Executive Inn, Latta, SC. We've stayed there twice and thought it was nice, clean, free breakfast. Nothing special, but nice enough.

There are a lot of hotels around Florence.

Florence has a ton of hotels. We've stayed in the Staybridge Suites.

We generally have had good luck with Microtel for clean, basic rooms. We also like Country Inn and Suites, usually a better free breakfast.

We try to make it to around Walterboro SC, then we only have 6 hours or so to Disney the next day.

We stay at the Comfort Inn in Lumberton, NC. It is the best rated one in Lumberton on tripadvisor.

We stayed here last year because we like a suite with 5 of us. We get two queen beds and a pull out sofa. Will be staying here in February again and I just booked it with AAA for $89 including taxes.

It is clean and they also have a decent free breakfast. It is also right off 95.

If you go further, I would also recommend the Holiday Inn in Hardeeville, SC.
