I have only sailed out of Port Canaveral once but I am wondering are there hotels where I could get up early and see the ship come in ??

TIA

I hope you're prepared for how early... The Dream and Fantasy are usually fully docked by 5am...

That said, I don't know if any lf the hotels have actual entrance way views. You might have to go to Jetty Park to watch it - assuming it's open that early.

agree

I live near the port

the ships usually arrive in the wee hours in order to be ready to begin offload at the time they put in the advertizing

the hotels near the port are not very tall for the most part and none are 'waterside' .... so you need a top floor room that happens to face the right way and then you might see the top of the ship commin' in .... unless as mentioned you go to the water edge at the port at around 5am .....

MUCH easier to watch on the webcam!!!!!

Thanks for the info .... I am taking my niece and nephew on their first cruise EVER . I know it would be extra exciting to see the ship come in . By the way I am in Tampa . So I really don't need to spend the night at all just wanted it for the extra excitement for the kids . I am taking them for their 18th birthday for one and 21st for the other .
