I live in NW Florida (not Marianna), however, Marianna is a very small town. There is a nice State Park there to visit with underground caverns - http://www.floridastateparks.org/floridacaverns/default.asp

Trip Advisors has a couple review for the Comfort Inn, but they are old - http://www.tripadvisor.com

If you travel on I-10 you will find more hotels.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Marianna on our last trip. Nothing fancy, but a good overnight stopping point. The hotel is easy to get to (right off of I-10) and there are several restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Marianna on the way to WDW back in May. DO NOTstay at the Best Western located just off I-10. There was something in the ventilation system there that made DH's allergies go into a frenzy. We wound up having to spend an evening at the critical care clinic near WDW so that he could breathe the rest of the trip. Besides the problem with the ventilation system there were many truckers staying there with their trucks running all night and the room wasn't very clean. I thought being a Best Western we would be okay but we learned other wise. Good luck with your hotel stay.
