I know people sometimes ask about hotels along I95. For years we stopped and spent the night at a Hampton Inn near Richmond Hills, GA (exit 87). Our last stay there was not that great, we looked for a new location.
We found one! We stopped at exit 94 at a different Hampton Inn which was newer, the staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. We ate dinner at an Applebee's across the parking lot from the hotel - very convenient location. There are several chain hotels in that same area.
