Hotels across the street

I have been searching and I'm having a hard time find hotels (across the street from Disneyland) that have suites. We have 4 adults and 2 children (1) and (3). So we need 3 beds. Can anyone recommend any hotels for me. Also the reason I want across the street is because we we want the quickest way to get into the park with out a lot of walking to it. We will be pushing my uncle in a wheelchair. Thanks

We are staying at the Desert Inn & Suites in Oct/Nov when we go and we have 4 adults and 2 children (13 & 8). We will be getting 4 beds and I think it's the Parlor C2 room but I'm not positive. It's right across the street from the park so VERY easy walking distance!!

Desert Inn and Suites is right across the street and has suites (obviously as the name suggests LOL)

They're fairly inexpensive also. :)

Thanks! I called them and they wanted $176 a night. I'm trying my hardest to go way lower then that.

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express about 3 years ago. Not sure about the suites but it was roughly $119 a night, clean, decent continental breakfast, and about 10 min walk to the DL entrance.

When are you going? That sounds like peak pricing. If so, you'll probably have to get a hotel further away to get any cheaper. Have you considered using ART to get to the parks instead of walking?

Park Vue is right across the street also and they have some rooms with 3 beds. We are staying there for the first time in March. It also has free breakfast AND dinner!

Howard Johnson has some suites that may work for you. Not sure how the place is though.

The Park Vue has suites. At least some of the suites have kitchenettes too which is nice.

We are going October 18-19. Just a quick little trip during Halloween time since have never been. Is that during peak season?

If 2 regular beds + a sofabed would work, I was able to find rates of $154 a night or $138.60 (if you have AAA) for your travel dates at the Best Western Park Place Inn, which is directly across the street. Here's the link I used: http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/priceAvail.do?stdRateFlag=false

Hope that helps!

Thanks I originally looked into that hotel but it is way to far to be pushing a wheelchair and stroller. I wish the hotels up the street had the same kids of suites for there price!

The Best Western Park Place Inn and the Park Vue Inn are pretty much as close as you're going to get, other than the Grand Californian. They are right at the pedestrian crosswalk; maybe a 5 minute walk.

I think you are going to DLR during the Utah fall break. It's a popular time for families to visit, and it may make it VERY hard to find a suite for that time period. We're visiting the next week (the 22-26), and many places with suites had no availability for the weekend of the 21st and 22nd, and you may be running into the same problem.

The deal at the BWPPI may be the best you can do at this point. It's right at the crosswalk, so it really is quite close. (It's where we're staying, BTW). Sorry to be a Debby Downer, but we booked our hotel 2 weeks ago, and it was pretty tough going to find the room we wanted at the price we wanted.

I figured it was the best we are going to get. Utah gets a fall break? Does that mean the park is excepted to be packed? I thought that week was considered low season.

I don't think it will be summer packed, no. But it might be a bit more crowded than the average off-season midweek.

Touringplans shows it as a 3 and a 2, but they're not always the most accurate, according to folks on the board.

Because it's during the Halloween season, it's definitely not low season. It's not at the utmost peak, but it is pretty busy.

176 a night is not bad when you consider that you are getting two full adjoining rooms. When you check the prices for other hotels that would require you to get 2 rooms I'm guessing the Desert Inn is cheaper. We have stayed in these rooms (the one with two adjoining rooms with 2 full bathrooms and sitting area) and there was a lot of room for us (4 adults, 2 kids). We are staying here again this Feb. :)
