Hotel Upgrade....

I've posted before about having an upgrade from NYH to DLH for our stay in October. We paid extra for a lake view. Where as our friends just went for a standard room and have been upgraded too. Just wondering that as we paid extra will be maybe get a parkview hotel? Really want to go back Castle Club but dh won't go and ask for me and the booking is in his name but we have the money to upgrade ourselves if need be.

I would pay the extra for CC if you can afford it.

You should keep in mind that there are alsmost no standard rooms in the DLH with a real good park view! Only some suits and CC rooms have a great park view!

I would have thought that since DLH is more expensive than HNY then they would view the fact that you paid for a lake view as irrelevant. I would get your DH to phone though just to double check, as they may see your logic. I think it would be better phoning now though, regardless of whether you'll have to pay or not, as I'm not too sure how popular the CC is, and they may have no rooms (especially if they've shifted people out of the HNY). Just a thought but perhaps they've upgraded people who were already in the DLH to the CC so they could put the extra HNY guests in the DLH.
Anyhows, long story short, phone them.

To get a park veiw you have to book castle club, however they may charge you full price to upgrade i.e the difference between the HNY and DLH on top of the castle club supplement.
