Sounds really stupid but it states that international channels are available on the TV's in the on site hotels. Does this mean that the Disney channel is in numerous languages or can you receive BBC1 etc? The previous visits we've never really been bothered but as my mother in law is coming this time she may wish to watch something else apart from Hannah Montana etc etc etc.

Thanks

From memory I think you may get BBC International News, Promo about the park and the Disney Channel.
We didn't watch much but I don't remember a big choice :confused3

I thought I had read somewhere that they had change the TV channels a while ago, and there was now an even worse selection than before!!!

3x DLRP promo channels (different languages); Disneychannel UK, Disneychannel France, and Disneychannel Germany (which had some very good original movies, BTW!). One of the German national stations. No CNN Intl. BBC Worldnews. A few fFrench channels.

There may have been an Italian channel as well; that's my back up when German TV is bad (which is quite often :rotfl: ) but I can't recall if it was at DLRP or in Paris; regardless, they showed 'Deal or No Deal' the Italian version almost every night, which runs about 2.5 hours long.

I agree with you re Hannah Montana - there is more screeching and screaming in that show than almost anything on TV (except for That's So Raven)

I was quite disappointed with the telly selection myself when I went. When you go on your own it's quite handy to have a bit of noise in the background but it has to be something not totally infuriating.

I normally like the DLP Promo thing but it really got on my nerves this time for some reason.

when we were at the DLH in July the only English channels was the news and the Promo video of the park. The Disney Channel was only available in french.

I'm pretty sure that they have Eurosport if that's any good to you! The TV's really aren't very good and I normally take a portable DVD player to fall asleep to.

Cheers for the replies, I'm not too bothered myself as I'll stick a few films on my Ipod but the screen is a tad too small for the mother in law :lmao:
