This may seem like an odd question, but I am curious how many people hang their room towels up to use again. You know how they have that little card in the bathrooms about if you want fresh towels leave them on the floor, otherwise hang them up and use them again? I guess I always want new towels. I know this probably sounds bad, but I figure if I am paying for the room and service, then I want clean towels daily.

I use new towels with my afternoon shower, then hang them to dry for my shower the next morning. So, I do use them twice, but I get new ones every day.

I usually take one shower a day- I use the towels once. I have heard that it can be hard on the mousekeepers backs to pick up towels from the floors- they prefer that you drape them over the tub- so that's what I do. -Steph

I always use mine several times. The amount of water WDW goes through in laundry is insane and every time they don't have to wash my towels or yours it helps reduce that amount. I especially do this when there is a drought in Florida. Obviously Disney is not totally environmentally conscious, but I try to do what I can in terms of reusable containers (one reason that mugs are so great!) and towels.

Also, using more water will eventually make the prices go up, either because they must process/clean more water or because they have to purchase it from some municipal system.

i reuse my towels... at least two or three showers worth... i try to hang dh/kids' towels up too...

At my stay at the Poly in April, I always hung up my towels. . .but I still received new ones every day! :D

Our entire family reuses towels throughout the year and we have a one towel per person rule - no second towel for the hair! Forgive me for indulging, but for the seven days I'm in Disney, I get a fresh towel each day!

Ack! Talk about towel nazis! ;) If I was there, I'd be in trouble all the time for contraband towels. . . .*gotta* have a 2nd one for the hair! LMAO. . .

:jester:

My wife hates that rule too! But since I do the laundry (and I'm follically (sp?) challenged) and my son is only 3, the rule stays! My wife does have one of those hair chamois though!:teeth:

We too get new ones everyday. I have left them on the hook behind the door before, and have come back to all fresh, clean towels.

Mousekeeping always gives us new towels too even when we hang them up. So, even though we are willing to use our towels again, there are always fresh ones waiting for us. :D

I must be doing something wrong, I absolutely have to have a new towel every morning, if not they smell like they came out of the laundry basket. Maybe I need to use soap when I shower, "Kidding"
