So we had wanted to do a straight drive from Toronto to WDW & have decided it might be just a little too much what w/ a 2 yr old & I'll be 7 months pregnant.
Can anyone recommend a city that is approx 4 to 5 hrs outside of WDW. We would ideally like to be able to get up in the morning, leave & be at WDW around lunch or shortly thereafter.

somewhere about the I-75...and I think I remember Valdosta or Macon being a place to stop around that mark...but I could be wrong...I've been plotting my trip using Mapquest all day....but I'm looking for about a halfway mark, since I'm doing all the driving myself.

We always stop at the Days Inn in Tifton, Georgia. Its an easy 4 hr drive to Disney from there.....:goodvibes

ETA: That's if your taking I-75 down in which case, you'll need to stop 2 nights so as not to be drowsy while driving! :faint: If that is the case, may I suggest stopping in Dayton, Ohio for your first night....

Where you stop depends on the route you take. Either way though if you want to stop with only 4 or 5 hours left you will need to drive approx 18 - 19 hours on day one.

If you take the I-79 route, Savannah, GA is about 4.5 hours from WDW.

This is where we stop when we used to drive down. We always stayed at the Bradbury Suites (Best Western) at exit 102 on I95. The rooms there are huge and there is a Cracker Barrel on the other side of the parking lot. Plus, you are only 4 hours away from WDW. Perfect!
