hotel specials ?

Do any of the Disney Properties offer specials in the month of January? We are planning a trip and are wondering if we should wait or book or hotel now?

I would wait a little longer to make reservations, most of us are waiting for the special rates for the Fall so it maybe a little while before they come out for January! But January is usually a slow month at the world so I think that there will be some specials. Also the weather in January down here can be quite iffy so if you are looking for pool weather January may not be the time to come.

Mawe,

You can make your reservations now and when a discount code is released, you can request it be added on. Disney has no problem doing this.

If your debate is to stay on or off Disney property, as long as you are making a room only reservation, you can cancel or change your onsite stay up to 5 days prior to your check-in date.

IMO, if you have special requests for your room, location, etc, I would go ahead and make your room only reservation and begin watching in about November (or October) for a room code to come out.

If you plan is to book a package, it might be worth your while to wait, but even still they will make changes to your reservation, it is just not as cut and dry as the room only changes.

I do recall a discount code for Jan of 2004. We have some friends that went and they received a code, but opted not to use it. Don't know why, but they are not much for saving money. Jan can be a slow time for Disney, so I feel pretty confident you will see codes for your visit.
