Hotel South of Atlanta

Anyone know a safe hotel/area to stay in outside of Atlanta? We will be driving to memphis and need a quick overnight stay. We usually stay in Macon but I want to drive a bit further if we can. THANKS!

We just booked a Country Inn in Morrow. A friend of mine lives in the area and said it was a good location.

Morrow is right outside of Atlanta, so it is still 6-7 hours to WDW>
If you only want a couple hours drive, try looking in Valdosta. It's near the GA / FL border.

Someone also mentioned Perry! It is right on I75 and is about 5 hours from Orlando!

We stay at the Hampton Inn, Lake Park, Georgia. It is just a couple miles from the Florida border

There is a hotel chain called Jameson Inn that is a clean, comfortable place. It is based out of Atlanta but there are a few hotels on I75 south of atlanta (Macon, Perry, Warner Robbins,Americus, Valdosta) I know that Macon, Perry and Valdosta are right off the interstate. Hope this helps.

On our last trip we stayed at the Jameson Inn in Perry, Georgia. It was reasonably priced, clean and included breakfast.
