Hotel Shuttle to PHL and Gate C-27???

It's been years, pre 9-11, since we last flew directly out of PHL so I don't remember any of the drill here. We're staying at a nearby hotel the night before and getting shuttled to PHL, and gate C-27 seems to be the consistant point of departure for our USAir flight. Anyone know where the hotel shuttles disgorge their cargo and if this point is convienient to USAir's gates?. The online terminal maps I have show the gates but don't mention where the shuttles stop. I'm trying to break my habit of getting to the airport ridiculously early without missing/rushing our flight. If it matters, we've got a Thurs. 7:55am flight.

I flew out of PHL to LA just recently (Jan) and the shuttles will drop you off at the terminal doors, right at the check in counters.

Warning.. wear socks. My last Philly flight they made me remove my shoes (I never understand the daily change on shoes vs no shoes) and the terminal I was in had NO carpert and my feet were COLD!!!

We got this treatment at Pittsburgh one trip, coming and going. I guess caucasians with AARP cards must fit the profile.
