dahess - I've heard good things about HRP, but would like to point out that they are hosting many Gaydays festivities during the beginning of you vacation, and may not be the most "family" orientated resort during that time. (see www.gaydays.com ).

We'll be at BCV June 7-13. Look for us, me, dh and dd's 10 &12 with our green ribbons at Stromalong Bay!

The resort is very very nice; I stayed there in 1995 and had absolutely no problems. The rooms are much bigger than the Disney-owned resorts for the price, I think. I would stay there again, definitely.

I wouldn't know whether the GayDays celebration poses any moral dilemmas for you or if you have small children who don't need to know what homosexuality and heterosexuality are just yet. (I assume you are asking about June 2003, because I noticed you put the Swan down as your hotel in June this year.) All the gay people I've met are lots of fun, but the festivities planned at the resort certainly might make parts of the hotel a lot more crowded, which would be the issue for me, personally. I hate crowds and love the off-season. But then in June most of the WDW hotels will be pretty full anyway. On the other hand, 3 free nights are not to be sneezed at.
