Hotel Royal Plaza?

Hi everyone, I am interested to know any opinions of this hotel in the downtown disney area, good and bad reviews are welcome. Is this really close to walking to downtown disney with a 7 year old? Thanks for any input.

There is an excellent review for this hotel at www.mousesavers.com. Also, you will find reviews by typing in Royal Plaza Hotel in the search box on the first page of this forum. The negative reviews I've read have been about rooms in the lanai wings. The tower-level rooms seem to receive consistent positive reviews.

My sisters and i stayed there last Feb and it was really nice we had a tower room, i would stay there again, we walked to downtown disney about three times at day it took maybe 10 minutes.
