Hotel Royal Plaza....which room????

We've decided to stay at the HRP. I have the Grosvenor booked, but after reading all the horror stories, I frantically started looking for an alternate. the HRP looks like great value!

Anyhow, for those of you who have stayed here before, what would you recommend? The $79 standard room, or upgrading to the $99 Deluxe Tower room??? The only difference I see is the cool Roman tub.

Any feedback would be great! Thanks in advance!

We too have the Grosvnor booked but we are thinking different, possibly this Hotel also. My question is where did you find the $99.00 deal for the deluxe room????? I have been looking at the sites and discount pages for this hotel royal, and have found nothing that cheep.

I also would like to know where you are getting 99.00 for the Deluxe tower room! The checapest I have seen for this room was 113.00!

There are standard rooms located around the pool. On the back side of the pool they face I-4. Beware of noise. On the first floor inner /pool side however, the rooms have a private poolside patio. All rooms receive Bath & BodyWorks toiletries. Turndown service is also offered. Housekeeping left little rubber ducks everyday for our DD4. Have a great time!

PAY FOR THE TOWER!

The wings are either slated, or NEED to be slated for refurbishment. It was very clean, but just not worth what was paid for the wings.

Stay in the tower.

We stayed in a tower room last year for 5 nights. The kids loved it. We were on the top floor and had wonderful views of DTD and could even see some MK fireworks at night. The transportation is not the best--we either used our car or DTD buses. The food and service were great. I would stay there again.
