Hotel Royal Plaza Questions

Hi, Staying at Hotel Royal Plaza, and wondering how far of a walk it would be to go to the boat that takes you to Port Orleans Riverside (want to visit some guest there). Do you have to show anything (room key, ID) to ride the boats?

I understand the boats run from PO to downtown Disney from 4-11 pm, could I take a boat from DD to PO lets say at 4:30 pm?

One final question, is Hotel Royal Plaza considered a “Disney” hotel?

The walk will take about 10-15 minutes...it is a nice walk unless it rains on you. As far as taking the boat to PO...that is a touchy subject. Technically, the transportation system is for the resort guest. They may ask for a room key card. I have never had them ask, however, they do have the right to. Also, if you are a pass holder, you are entitled to the Disney Transportation System. I am reseving my comments on using Disney's Transportation.... I don't want to start any unpleasant posts. And to answer your question is the HRP a Disney Hotel, no it isn't. Hope this has helped you......
