Hotel Royal Plaza & free dining?

Looking at the Free dining announcement, it looks like Hotel Royal Plaza is an official disney hotel. Does that mean we can book it and get free dining? Also, does anyone know if the magical express goes there?

Hotel Royal Plaza is not an "official" Disney hotel (it is not owned by Disney but technically on Disney property).

You have to book an official Disney hotel to participate in Free Dining.

Same thing with Magical Express, you have to be in an official disney hotel to use Magical Express -- it does not go to the Hotel Royal Plaza.

On a separate note, HRP is a great hotel -- huge rooms -- bigger than WDW rooms.

In order to get the free dining you have to book a Magic Your Way package at a Disney resort. I'm pretty sure that it is only the "Disney" hotels. All the hotels listed on the disney web site are eligible.

I could be wrong, try calling disney, they will be able to help u.

As far as Magical express, i think its the same thing, I have never seen those other hotels listed on the signs at MCO

I agree - no Free Dining at Hotel Royal Plaza - no Magical Express either (BTW there's no Free Dining or Magical Express at the Swan & Dolphin either )

There's a difference between "official Disney hotel" and "Disney-owned hotel". Only Guests at Disney-owned hotels are eligible.
