Hotel Royal Plaza at DD

Has anybody stayed at HRP in DD? I won 2 airplane tix, 4 night/5day at hotel, and 4 day Hertz car rental. The girl at Spirit said HRP is the only one in the area I could use the certificate at. I was just wondering how that resort was. What kind of room did you stay in? We are taking both kids, so we will need 2 doubles or queens. After we check out from HRP, we are going to use our points at Old Key West or Saratoga. Just looking for input on HRP!! Thanks!

The Royal is a great place to stay. It has been on topic here recently. Are you aware it is closed until Jan/Feb of 2005 due to hurricane damage?

As was mentioned, they are closed right now due to hurrican damage. If your trip can wait until March 05 or later, you might wind up w/ a nice and shiny new room!
