Hotel Room vs Studio?

We own DVC at Aulani and would like to book a hotel room for our trip because it is less points. But... we like that we get a microwave and toaster in a studio. Are we definitely able to get those things in a hotel room? Are they sometimes not available? Where is there space for them?

You can request them but they are not guaranteed. You could always go to Target or Costco and buy a cheap toaster to throw away or leave behind when you're done. The only place to put either item, to my knowledge, would be on the table. You may be able to fit the toaster on the armoire.

Keep in mind that the number of hotel rooms available to DVC point bookings are few. Depending on when you book, studio may be the only option.

Last two times staying on points in a hotel room we had a microwave! IDK if they have 10 specific DVC hotel rooms that they always use?! We have always stayed in the Wai'anae tower. Just food for thought!!!

We had a standard room and all it had was a small fridge and Keurig coffee maker. We had to use the microwave down by Ulu Cafe. If those things are very important to you, I would book the studio or call hotel and see if you can request a microwave for the room if you want the standard room.
