hotel rip off

hi everyone,
just need to know if anyone can help me?
i booked a hotel in paris on the net price given 843euros a email confirmation was sent,fifteen days later the company sent me a email telling me they had got the price wrong and they now wanted 1968euros.
i sent 3 emails and recived no reply.then i got a email telling me they had cancelled my booking.
i wrote to the company (recorded delivery) recived a email reply telling me they would look into the matter.that was two weeks ago i have not heared anything since.
Is there anything i can do???
