hotel reservations

I have stayed at hotels many times before but my trip to Disneyland on Nov 10th is the first time I booked the hotel myself. I'm going with my boyfriend. Anyway, I was wondering: should I call ahead to confirm my reservation even though I have a confirmation e-mail and number? If so, when should I call? The day before? The week before? Thanks for the help. I'm so excited.

I always call about a week before and then again the day before just to be safe. Years ago I booked a hotel in Tahoe online and when we showed up they didn't have my ressie so since then I am kind of paranoid!

I only call if I'm checking in late. Otherwise I have my printed confirmation and they better have a room for me! LOL
