Im thinking about changing the month we go from April to June, so we can have an extra 2 months to save..not to mention I dont think DH's ex will go for taking my SS out of school.

Anywho, we were going to stay off site but since this is my first time to WDW and we will only be spending 2 days there , Im thinking that being on site will be better.

Here's my situation. Theres 16 of us

DH, myself and SS

His mom and dad

Sis n law and her family (5 total)

Bro n law and his family (6 total)

How many rooms would we be looking at to get or do they have suites that could accommodate us, so we arent so spread out.

We wouldnt be going again until 2009 sometime when we will be taking my side of the family which is huge with a capital H

I think a great option for all of you would be the Fort Wilderness Cabins. If you like your in-laws ;) you, your dh, step-son, and in-laws could share one. They sleep 6, plus one child under 3 in a pack-n-play. Your SIL and BIL could each get one for their entire families. If you reserved them enough in advance, you could probably request that they all be in the same "loop" at FW.

Each cabin has a bedroom with one full-size bed (maybe queen?) and 2 bunk beds, then in the living room there is a Murphy bed that pulls down out of the wall (full-size). You have a full kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator - it's very nice to be able to eat breakfast at your cabin.

It sounds like fun! Have a great time! :)

Thank you..Im going to go do some searching on the cabins

Some other possibilities:

All Star Music Family Suites sleep six each with separate room with queen bed for two, plus small kitchen area with fridge and microwave. They look nice although we haven't stayed in them.

The Contemporary Resort rooms are quite large and the resort itself is very convenient to MK via the monorail (nice since you're only there two days). The regular rooms sleep six, but I think there is a junior suite that may sleep 6. Also, you can have six in a regular room if one child is under 3 (not sure if you have any babies/toddlers in your group).

The Boardwalk Inn has deluxe concierge rooms that sleep 6. They are not inexpensive, but concierge is a nice perk for a group because it's easy for everyone to meet up in the concierge lounge for breakfast, snacks, etc.

One additional thought -- when making your reservations, ask to speak with Grand Gatherings. They can fill you in on special events available to family groups -- and can help to ensure that your rooms are near each other. The Grand Gatherings people are also some of the most experienced reservations people in my experience.

Have fun!
