We usually do WDW, but are planning a trip to Vero Beach and want to back it up with a trip to universal orlando. What hotels do you recommend and how many days? I have a 9 & 11 year old and we usually stay on disney property. I think that staying at one of the universal hotels sounds best, but confused which one. Is 4 nights enough to stay at universal? Help! THanks for any helpful advice! Any park ticket advice would be great, too.

This will probably get moved to the hotel board.

With kids that age I'd say to stay at the RPR and save your money for souvineers. The HRH is the next step up, but many are reporting snobby attitudes from the workers. If you want something quiet and fancy, you'd stay at the PBH. RPR is a good choice.

Park tickets, depending on when you come, the Power Pass is a good deal. Gets you 1 year with some black out dates.

i also suggest staying at RPR. It is very nice even though it is concidered the "budget" choice.

However the best part of staying on site is the express pass. It is completly worth the extra money. It gets you directly on the rides. You get to bypass the lines. You use your room key as your pass and you ride whenever as many times as you want. There is also an express pass that you can purchase if you stay off property but you may only ride each attraction once and at a certain time.

The kids may enjoy this. It makes it possible to do everything at least once with time to spare!
