I am just starting to research Disneyland Paris for a possible trip in September. We are planning for a few days in Paris and I thought a side trip to Disneyland would be great. Where can I find the rates for the hotels at that time of year? I tried looking at the Disneyland Paris website but I kept getting errors. Is there any other place where I find at least estimates of cost?

Thanks! :)

epedia.co.uk is always a good start.

I'm sure others will have more idea shortly.

Good luck

Emily

Don't worry, no one is as clueless as me. Really.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like, even the ones you think are silly.

There are loads of really nice guys and girls on these boards, who know much much more than me, and are all really helpful.

Ask away and enjoy.

Emily, some questions for you....

  • are you looking for room only rates? they can be found at www.expedia.de or www.expedia.co.uk (not www.expedia.com)
  • are you from outside Europe? there are offers on the DLRP website for Europeans not offered on the US site. All rates on the DLRP site include park tickets for length of stay; some offers (on the German site at least) include tickets for some of the stay only

If you want to view a great chart showing peak days/periods, and any special offers, I like the TUBI site. Yes, it's in German but it's very visual and I am certain fairly easy to navigate if you don't speak German. Here is the link

I am from the US. I know tons about WDW but nothing about DLRP! I am probably looking for a package with room and tickets. We will probably only stay one night as we want to do Paris and make a trip to London.

I will give the German site a try. I don't speak German but my brother knows a little so I will get him to interpret.

Thanks!:)

If you are only going to do one day, then I woudl stay away from the packages which have one day, two days worth of tickets (unless you plan on going the night of arrival into the parks)

There is a 'Schnupper' package on the DLRP German site which allows for one night and I believe that it includes only one day of ticket.

Or look for room only rates on Expedia (not the US site) and buy a one day ticket at the park. That way you are not paying for a ticket you don't need.

And all Disney hotels include breakfast, FYI.

If you are going to London first then Eurostar by train to Paris may be an option rather than flying :goodvibes

The plan as of now is to fly to London for a few days and then take a train to DLRP. I am going to try for a day and half in the parks. Is this enought time to hit the highlights? Then on to Paris for a few days before flying home.

I think a package would be ok since I am going to need two days of tickets. Does one nights hotel say come with two days of tickets?

Oh, I tried the German site and got very confused so I will bookmark that one for later. :)

emily feel free to PM me your dates, number of people and I'll send you a few quotes if you'd like :)

A one night stay booked as a package will come with tickets for day of arrival and the following day :)

Emily, our trip sounds almost identical to ours. Except I am coming from Canada. We are flying into London, taking the train to DLP, then spending a few days in Paris before either heading to southern France for a couple of days, or spending a few more days in Paris and then heading home.

I too and curious as to how many days to see/do the site of DLP?? Is it very busy the end of September?

We went to WDW last summer and spent a week there and didn't even come close to seeing everything.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks!

technical issues with website = double posts - sorry!

one day IS doable, although with the new attractions at the Studios opening this summer it may be more difficult. I would focus on the attractions different than in America.

I know that the search feature is not great now, but there are threads a few pages back on doing the park in one day. Also take a look at some of the stickies.

As to busy days, they vary - if you download the online brochure it marks day in colour, with colour representing how busy things are. Generally avoid weekends, and Wednesdays are busier due to no school for french children.
