hotel question--need some help!!

Okay we are planning a vacation for June 2009---we want to fly into San Diego and do a day at SeaWorld, a day at the San Diego zoo, and a day at Legoland...does anyone have any suggestions for a nice hotel to stay at that is close to those attractions, CLEAN, and still reasonably priced? Thanks!

We then plan on driving to DisneyLand and spending 2-3 days there before flying home out of LAX. Again--any suggestions for a nice hotel within walking distance of DL. The park hotels themselves seem pretty expensive...Thanks again for your help!

My family is DH, me, DS6, DD4, and my DS 16 months (but he may be staying home with Grandma for this trip...)

Hi! We are doing our first family DLR trip over spring break. We also have 3 (although I did leave the baby home with grandparents on one trip to WDW, when middle DS turned 3 - it was his first trip). We are spending 3 nights at the West Inn & Suites in Carlsbad (it was rated well on tripadvisor) and doing the San Diego Zoo, Legoland and whale watching excursion - then heading to GC for 4 days of Disney. This sounds a lot like the vacation we're beginning to plan for this summer! We're thinking of doing Legoland, Sea World, Disneyland, and the beach. I'll be watching to see what hotel suggestions people give.

We're so used to going to Disneyworld in FL, it's kind of scary planning a vacation to a place that we've never gone to before!

we just returned from spending 3 nights in Carlsbad (as well as 4 in Anaheim). We LOVED the West Inn and Suites in Carlsbad. Clean and large room and WONDERFUL staff. VERY close to legoland and only 30 minutes from the other attractions.
