A couple of weeks ago I reserved 4 nights at Red Lion and I just checked now and it's $60 cheaper overall (first 3 nights cheaper, last night more expensive). I have until the 20th to cancel so can I call them up to get the better rate? Can I get the better rate the first 3 nights but keep the last night's rate? Thanks.

Maybe you can cancel the first 3 nights and rebook them at the lower rate. If you cancel the 4th night, you'll lose that rate. But with 2 reservations, they might make you change rooms. You would have to determine if the potential hassle is worth saving $60.

I would call them. We did this last year with the Residence Inn. The price dropped on their website and I called saying I wanted the lower rate, they changed it for me.

I agree with PPers, call them. If nothing else, if it's cheaper overall to rebook your entire reservation even though the 4th night's rate is higher, I say why not do it. In fact, that 4th night rate might (or might not) come down if you cancel first before rebooking, since you'll be releasing that room back into the reservation pool. Last year, we canceled and rebooked at the HoJo after their rates dropped and we saved something like $40 a night.
