Hotel or Motel near Sanford airport

There are 4 of us in our party, myself, wife and 2 kids. The kids are 6 and 1 year old at time of trip. We will be arriving on a Friday night in February around 8PM at the Sanford airport. Does anyone know of or have stayed at a hotel that is near the airport. Our disney reservation starts the next day, so we figured we would stay near the airport the first night since we arrive so late.

I am looking for somethign easy to get to, either right near the airport or right off the major highway to Disney.

i don't want to sway u either way but for about $90 you could stay at a all star, we did this left all the suitcases in the car and just took jammies, it's only just a bed anyway, but if you don't want to i would check the website

There are a bunch of hotels close to the airport, maybe 10 minutes in Lake Mary. Hampton Inn, Courtyard Marriott and more.
You might also try Heathrow. They were building some near the Sanford Amtrak station when we were there in June. Or call AAA, their headquarters is very close to that airport.

We have stayed at the Comfort Inn in Sanford the last couple of years for the Daytona 500. The hotel is just off of I-4, it's very clean and the staff is great. If you are a Sam's Club member, you can get a discounted rate too. You don't say when in February you will be traveling, but if it's President's weekend the Comfort Inn is already sold out because of the Daytona 500.

Thanks for the help. The wife and I decided to drive down to Disney the first night. We added a night on to our reservation. That way we don't have to worry about switching any hotels with 2 kids.

We are going the first week of Feb before the race.
