Hotel New York VIP Fastpass - Reservations being honored?

I've seen a lot of "I've heard that..." but can anyone confirm that they are honoring the VIP fastpasses for Hotel New York Empire Club Rooms booked before the cutoff? We booked January 7 for a trip that isn't until June, and I'm certainly hoping that the VIP fastpasses promised at the time of booking will in fact be issued at arrival. Didn't know if anyone had first hand experience, now that we're well past all the cutoff dates.

Unrelated, but certainly glad they opened the Shareholders Club back up to new members. Only took a week to get my card.

A friend stayed their a few weeks ago who booked the Empire Club last summer and they gave her the option of the VIP Fast Pass or an up grade to a suite. She took the suite option as there are very few FP rides open at the moment and the park was quiet.

I'm surprised anyone is joining the Shareholders Club now that 1,000 shares are required.

Good to hear. We'll be there on weekdays, but the last week of June, so the VIP Fastpass may prove useful.

1,000 shares at current trading levels and with the Euro down was under $1500 US in total investment. Having now read up on the Oriental Land Co shareholders benefits, I may look into that if the price and exchange rate cooperate at the same time. For as much US Disney stock as I've got, I wish they still did something for the US shareholders.
