Well this was our shortest Disney trip so far, just Friday to Sunday but we seemed to pack in more than ever as a result.
It was also our first winter trip but the weather was quite mild although a bit wet on the Sunday.
Hotel: Probably the most relaxed of the hotels we have visited. Spacious public areas and bedrooms which were also very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was remarkably relaxed with no crowds.
Park: With our little one that bit bigger now, it was all about Thunder Mountain and the other roller coasters but we still had time for the old favourites, Small World and POTC.
She was also very impressed with the treehouse which was her first experience of it.
There are definitely fewer characters milling around the park but we did see a few.
The Christmas decorations were amazing, the snow on Main Street was lovely and the light and fireworks show 'Dreams' at night was utterly spectacular.
Our only negative was a trip to Toad Hall which involved a wait of an hour and a half for food and a game of cat and mouse to get a table which was outside. It was uncomfortable with seagulls swooping for food all around us so I guess I would advise people to go at less busy times.
That's a small complaint in what was another magical experience.
