Last minute trip booked! We'll be in the parks this Thursday-Saturday!
Finding an economical room, heck any room is proving difficult. I will have a car so I can drive, ugh. Tips, hints?!
A 3.5* hotel was a bust on Priceline.

I recommend using Hotel tonight , great app but the room only guarantees to fit two people but we usually end up with 2 queens for hubby and I.

If you're able to stay a little farther away since you're driving Quality Inn Placentia may work. Its about 225 for two nights.

DoubleTree Orange County has rooms at $219, it's a little over 2 miles away but they have a free shuttle to DL if you don't want to drive.

Hotels in Garden Grove might be cheaper. Also try looking in Buena Park.

The Hilton Anaheim says that for four days that only registered guests and attendees of the VidCon convention will be allowed in the hotel. I guess they're thinking that they might be overloaded just with convention goers and that they can't handle anyone who isn't staying there or part of the convention.
