 We are splitting our Disney stay and do something else in between, (3 nights the first time, 2 the last) because kids want to ride splash mountain, and it's not opened until the weekend after we get there. Anyway, on our way back from an undisclosed location (don't want to give it away in case my daughter reads this) we don't get back until 8p at night. We need 1 night's hotel before we check into the PP (again, don't want to give it away, another surprise) so can any of you think of a place near the Anaheim Gardenwalk (I think that's where we return to) or anywhere around the Harbor/Disney area that is clean, safe and doesn't cost an arm and a leg? The next morning we will have to cab it over to our new hotel for the last 2 nights. Thanks for your help! :thumbsup2

We've stayed a couple of times at the Super 8 on Katella which is right next door to the Garden Walk. It's usually around $60 and has free parking and free (small) breakfast. It certainly isn't the hyatt but it's okay for just needing a place to sleep.

The Anabella is right there and it's nice. You could easily walk to the PP Hotel from there (maybe a 2 minute walk). It is probably a little more than the Super 8, but it's nice.

Thanks for your help! I will look into both of those options...we will have our suitcases (4 of them) + our carry ons, etc. so we may have to take a cab no matter what unless it's as close as it sounds (Annabella) I'm super EXCITED!! ; )

Check out HOJO, we love it there. Also if you have an entertainment card they offer great rates. Our room is $59 a night =)

Hey yupikgirl!!

Looks like we're going at the same times! We're flying out of here on the 21st to go to DL. I got a hotel near the LAX airport for Friday night, then we check in to the Villas on Saturday. Maybe we'll run into each other in the airport!

Where in AK are you? We're in Eagle River. If you're close by, maybe we could share a shuttle to the airport!

The Alpine Inn is not bad. No crossing Harbor, but further away. :surfweb:

If you don't really care where you stay then I would try priceline and go for a 4*...I've never gotten a 4* that wasn't nice, and I bet if you bid one night for $70 you might have a shot. We got a 4* in SD for $88 a night and it usually goes for $240...

: )

The Desert Inn right across the street from Disneyland is clean and safe. I reserved a room at the very end of next month for $89 - it may even be cheaper with your dates.
