Hotel Near Wide World of Sports

Can anyone recommend a place to stay in Feb. near Wide World of Sports for 4 people -- 2 adults, 2 kids (one is a big kid of 14). My stipulation is that it have AT LEAST 2 Queen beds (that eliminates the Disney resorts in the area). Free breakfast would be nice too! We're going there for Twirlmania

OKW (not as close as Pop) has 2 queen beds in their studios. you can rent points from a dvc member

very few hotels in the area have queen beds.

here are some that are close - but I think double beds.

WWoS is closer to Pop, CBR and Epcot resorts - than to the All stars. the Epcot resorts have queen beds - BC, YC, BWI, and Swan.

I'm going to move this from the reviews board to the Orlando hotels board for you.

Have you checked some of the DTD hotels??? They wouldn't be to far or the Swan? Also, another option would be the Sheraton Safari--- didn't this have queen beds (they seemed like queen's when we stayed here... ). Lastly what about Cypress Pointe's Suites-- usually a good deal for these can be found on these for www.hotelkingdom.com .

Right down Osceola Parkway past Gaylord Palms is Country Inn & Suites Calypso Cay and the Amerisuites Calyso Cay. They both get good reviews. Also, the Radisson Resort Parkway (the name just changed to something else but I can't remember what) is close by. You can get deals on it usually on Mousesavers, and I think it might be a site sponsor here, too.

EDIT: I see that the Radisson has double beds, so that's out. The Comfort Suites Maingate East has queen beds. It's right behind Old Town and would be easy enough to get to/from WWoS by using the connector road by the Walgreens on 192 (connects 192 and Osceola Parkway). You cna usually get a good deal for this place on HotelMartUSA.com.
