Hotel near Waterloo.

Can anyone recommend a hotel near Waterloo station (cheap but ok for me and 7 year old). I have to travel from Nuneaton to catch the 9.37am Eurostar and want to avoid the delays we had on BR with late trains, we only just made the eurostar in december , so , I want to travel the day before on our next trip as I have been told about the £1 fares to London on national express. Any advice please anyone?

Hi there,

We stayed at the Travel Inn County Hall which was within 5 minutes' walk of Waterloo Station (and it was the end with the Eurostar, too)

Nice clean rooms, I think £80 per room per night.

Hi Stefanie!

We tried the Days Inn Waterloo c.4 years ago and found it had good value family rooms by Central London standards (about £75 a night?) plus cheapish breakfast too. Fair sized rooms plus clean.

Its a five minute walk to Waterloo station from their front door, also near the Imperial War Museum I recall.
