Hotel near Universal with great pools and activities for kids

Looking for a hotel resort near Universal (not LRP OR LPBH OR HRH) to stay for a few days with my son who is 9. I want great pools and activites for us. Only visiting Universal 1 or 2 days, want to enjoy the resort. Thanks.
