Hotel near Orlando Convention Center

Hello, I am looking for an inexpensive hotel near the Orlando Convention center (walking distance if possible since I do not want to rent a car)). Looking for something around $125 a night. This would be for a cheerleading competition in March 2008.

I know there's a Hawthorne Suites by Sea World that's close to the convention center. Embassy Suites, Gaylord Palms, La Quita right top of my head. I think the I-Trolley takes you to the convention Center to. Tony's Roma restaurant is has excellent food.

Check www.vistacayrent.com. If you'll do a general enquiry on the site, you'll find a lot of options that are that price and less for a 3BR condo. It's next to the Convention Center.

BTW, the I-Ride Trolley has a weekly pass that's pretty cheap for getting around - www.iridetrolley.com.

Tons of hotels around the convention center. I just did a random expedia search and the Wyndham and Hilton Garden Inn on I-Drive are both around your price range. Nice hotels for the money, otherwise there are a lot of Quality Inn type properties, but obviously the Wyndham or HGI would be a nicer alternative....

i would highly recommend vistacayrent. why pay $125 for a hotel room and you can have a 3 bedroom condo for the same price or lower right on the convention doorstep, we stayed there in april for a week 3 days and 4 days slots and both condos where brill, we stayed in a monte verde floorspace 2100ft the master bathroom alone was about the same size as a hotel room.
